Is assembly required?
We use this for cat food instead of rice and it’s awesome. The container stays stable when I pull it forward and scoop, and the lid closes tight so the smell doesn’t spread. I still use the date dial to remember when we opened the bag. Material feels thick and safe, not cheap plastic. Might get another one for actual grains if this one keeps holding up.

I really like how the design pushes everything down so you’re always scooping from the bottom. No more tilting the whole container trying to get the last bit of rice out. I’ve had zero spills so far.
Our pantry is basically one tall cabinet, so reaching the back was a pain. This container glides out and down so I can scoop without dragging it all the way out. Holds a lot of long-grain rice, and I’ve even mixed some quinoa in there. My only complaint is I wish the lid had a little scoop holder, but I just leave the scoop inside and it works fine.
I don’t actually use it for rice (lol). Mine is full of oatmeal and granola, and it works great. The easy-lift lid is smooth and doesn’t slam shut. I can move it up and down on the pantry shelf without fighting it. Thinking about grabbing a second one for dog food since it seems sturdy enough and the capacity is pretty generous.
