my countertop was always SOAKED with my old rack, water just sat under it. this one with the angled tray and spout is a big improvement. water actually goes into the sink like it should lol. I like that I can use the rack without the drain board too when I want it in the sink. utensil holder pops off easy so I can dump the water. I hand wash both pieces every few days and so far no weird smells or mold.

so I was tired of those metal racks that rust in like 3 months. this one is plastic but it’s actually pretty solid. I pile plates, bowls, even my cutting board on it and it doesn’t bend or anything. the drain board is slanted so the water actually goes in the sink (crazy that my old one didn’t). you do have to line up the little spout right or it drips on the edge, but once I set it, I just leave it there.

The utensil holder is actually my favorite part. It keeps all the forks and spoons upright instead of sliding through the gaps like on my old rack. When everything’s dry, I just lift it out, dump any water, rinse, and pop it back in. The whole rack feels stable and doesn’t tip when I load one side more than the other. Only critique: I wish the plastic finish was a bit more “matte,” but that’s purely cosmetic.

It’s just me and my partner, and this rack fits our nightly dishes without hogging the whole countertop. I can fit around 6–8 plates, some bowls, and a couple of mugs plus utensils. The integrated drain board keeps the water under control. I love that it came fully assembled—literally pulled it out of the box and put it next to the sink.

I’ve been using this daily for about a month and it’s holding up well. It doesn’t feel flimsy at all. I load it with plates, bowls, cups and sometimes a frying pan if I angle it. The utensil holder is surprisingly roomy, and I love that it comes off so I can dump out the water easily.
